مطر الحزن عاود هطل
جدد عذاب الأرصفـة
الوجه الخجول رجع يطل
وكان ظني إنه إختفه
رجع رجعة أبأس بطل
مهزوم منتصر ,صعب اوصفه
والدمعة مرة تكابر ومرة تطل
والقلب المظلوم من ينصفه
الهم اثقل من مية رطل
يتنهد وتبدأ عاصفه

but this is really nice .. but related to the former poem in a very weird link!
I knew a bit about Badr El Sayyab but not too much, it was the first time I come across the nice poem, thanks for pointing it out.
But yeah, the link is kind of weird, I couldn't pin it myself. I guess the relationship between rain and the earth is the missing link, both poems try to depict how parts of earth respond to the rain.
